Double Rainbow...........Double Promise??

So, last night after it poured (and before it started pouring once again) we saw this awesome double rainbow! The one is more faint but you can see it if you look close. The brighter one was amazing as it even was a full half circle, like it started from one spot on the ground and you could see it all the way over to where it "touched" the other spot on the ground! It was so bright and awesome! So, it got me thinking. If God sent the rainbow after the flood (Noah and the Ark) as a promise to His people to never bring destruction like that again (flood the whole earth) then what does it mean today? Okay, so it's probably a reminder of the promise to Noah but I like to think that it's also a promise of what he did for us, by sending his only son, Jesus, to die for us and rise again! Also a reminder of how good God is to us and that after every storm there is always a bright spot and God is still there. That He's there even through the storm and He never leaves. Sometimes he likes to remind us of that with a gorgeous colorful rainbow! So, that got me thinking about what is He wanting to say when it's 2 rainbows?! Hmmmmm, is it because whoever sees it needs a double measure of remembrance of how good our God is?! Is it because he knows that the person(s) that sees it really needs to be reminded of His faithfulness and love and to know that He's there and has never left and never will? I'm not sure but it definitley made me think about that and say "Yes God, I will choose to trust you and that you know best and that you are faithful...even when I am faithless!"
