Pictures that I took awhile ago but you haven't yet seen.

I forgot to show a few pictures from last week when I cut everyone's hair (except for Iris'). I had an audience of neighborhood kids the whole time! :)
Sorry, I must be out of it because I forgot to rotate this picture before it was on the page and I'm too tired to go back and do it again. So for now this will have to do. This is Negro, the dog that loves to be all up on me even though I don't so much love it. So I decided I that two could play at this game. I called him over to take a picture and then wanted to take another but he would have none of it. I got him to stay away from me, for that day anyways.
Ahh the beautiful clouds!

Thanks L.A.! Doesn't it remind you of the orphanage in Guatemala and how all the kids loved their haircuts and how that's when I knew that I SHOULD do hair cause I CAN do hair and missions at the same time. :) I'm glad you like the pic like it is so I'll keep it! :) Love you girl!

Karisa, you sounded so much better in your email today. You know I can actually hear your voice and your accents when I read them. They are so much like you talk. You asked so many questions in your email, I don't know that I can answer them all. One of them was am I praying for Aaron & Kate, and yes I am. No, I have not seen them since they have gotten back. Did I tell you that Jamie, Carla, the girls and I stopped at Niagara Falls on the way home from New York. It actually was just about a half an hour from the highway. There was also an air show going on at the airport or some where up there that weekend. Jenni & Jerry had left Utica before we did and had called to tell us there was a big traffic jam and unless we wanted to wait awhile, not to plan to go to the falls. We talked it over, decided we would probably never again be just a half hour away and went for it. We were not stuck in a traffic jam. We did get into slow traffic where near the exit, but we were at the toll gate within 15 minutes, and from then on it was smooth going. We had to stay on the American side though, because Jamie had forgotten the girls birth certificates. I think I like the American side better anyway. There are those parks that you can just enjoy and you can actually get close to the falls. On the Canadian side, it is much more commercial. So we left Niagara about 6:00 pm. As we were leaving, I got a call from Janet. She was so surprised when I told her we were just leaving Niagara. She asked if we were going to stay some place for the night. We did not think we needed to since there were 3 of us to drive. So we got home about 2:30 am. Needless to say, we did not go to church Sunday. Things at work have slowed down a bit. However, I still am working some overtime. I think I must do most of the paperwork. It just seems endless. Plus having to go to the plants to investigate the complaints employees have. I have several that have been resolved, but I have not done the paperwork. I was glad that you told us that the picture of you and Negro needed to be rotated. I thought that Negro was a cow or something. It certainly did not look like a dog. No I did not recognize the Rio Royale as the place where we climbed rocks. As a matter of fact, I wondered it that was the same place. When you said that you walked there with Samuel and Hannah I thought to myself, there was not a river close enough to walk to when I was there. Then I remembered that there was that "creek" bed where we were climbing. I was trying to think if there was anything more exciting to tell you. This is not exciting, but, I am going to tell you anyway. We had this company come give us an estimate on replacement windows tonight. He thought it might cost us about $10,000 to replace all our windows. That is about 50% less than I thought. However, we are not adding any debt at this time. Have I told you that I am thinking about going back to school and getting my degree in Human Resources. Can you believe it? I have never given it more than a passing thought before. I have always felt like just didn't want to do anymore school. Suzanne has gotten a grant from Ivy Tech for us all to to through a course that is suppose to be real helpful when looking for a job in HR. When I complete the course and pass the test, I will get to add some letters behind my name. I bet that impresses you. Anyway, this course is suppose to begin in September and it is a 12 or 13 week course that we will take at Ivy Tech. Okay I am out of things to say.
Hugs & Kisses, Kathy
