Here's the view from the one window in the upstairs room (one big room where the kids and I sleep). It shows a bit of the backyard and then the neighbors house, which is where the Bornman's first lived when they came down here.
This is how Andrew gets wood for the cook stove and fireplace. It's the sawmill that's right next door (kinda) and he goes and gets wood from the scrap pile.
The dogs go everywhere that we go! This is Negro.
Just a little proof that Josiah is warming up to me nicely. :) This was on the road trip that we took last Sunday and he was sitting next to me.
This is what happens when I take the scrap food/chicken bucket out to dump. Usually there's even more animals but some must not have gotten the memo this time. Add another dog and a few ducks and that's the norm. :)

just so you know... it's 2am and i'm watching a cheesy jennifer love hewitt movie called heart breakers. just finished Spanglish. (love that movie. i love the daughter. she's so beautiful)
